What is a crisis?
A crisis is a sudden event that puts the Company in a position of instability, which may be caused by internal or external factors.
Crises have three stages;
1. Silent stage, where the crisis is already present, but it has not yet finished developing in a notorious way.
2. Scaling stage, at this point the crisis is visible and we can have its impact within the organization.
3. Descent stage, when the crisis subsides and has a culmination.
Within crises, a risk traffic light is managed, which allows us to prioritize crises and define the strategies that will be carried out during their different stages.
A serious event occurs for the organization, in many cases these crises arise from factors external to the organization, which is why they are usually public knowledge.
A less serious event occurs, but it can lead to a serious crisis if it is not attended to in time; external and internal factors can be observed, and are of less public knowledge.
There is an event with a slight risk in which the internal factors of the organization are involved, and are usually of less or no knowledge of the external public.
Although a crisis can happen suddenly, strategies can also be generated to prevent them, and that the risk of happening is lower.
